Terms of use — Clavis

The terms for using this website.

Short, because this is a website, not a contract for the product. If you become a customer you will sign a separate agreement; nothing on this page replaces it or commits you to it.

Who runs it

Clavis, run by Mario Kaspers, who also runs the studio it was built for. Write to hello@useclavis.ai about anything here; it reaches him, and he answers it himself.

What this site is

A description of Clavis, a demo you can try, and a way to book a twenty-minute call. That is all it does. Using it is free and you do not need an account.

The demo is a sandbox

The demo runs against a throwaway studio built for exactly this purpose. It is there to be poked at, and anything you type into it may be deleted at any time without notice. Do not put real personal data about other people into it — not a member’s name, not a client’s phone number. It is a demonstration, not a place to keep anything.

Fair use

Use the site normally. Do not try to break into it, scrape it wholesale, overload it, or use it to send anything unlawful, abusive, or misleading to anyone. If the demo is being used in a way that harms it or someone else, access to it may be withdrawn.

What is promised, and what is not

The site is provided as it is. It is not guaranteed to be available, uninterrupted, or free of errors, and the demo in particular is expected to change underneath you. The prices and figures shown are the ones offered at the time of publication and can change; a price only becomes binding in a signed agreement.

Anything the demo produces is an illustration. It is not advice — not legal, financial, tax, or business advice — and it should not be relied on as a record of anything.

What belongs to whom

The words, design, code and images on this site belong to Clavis, except where something is credited to someone else — the icons are Solar by 480 Design, used under CC BY 4.0. You are welcome to quote or link to the site; please do not pass it off as your own.

Anything you type into the sign-up form or the demo stays yours. What happens to it is set out in the privacy notice, which is part of these terms.

Becoming a customer is separate

Booking a call commits you to nothing. If a studio goes on to use Clavis, the relationship is governed by a services agreement and a data processing agreement signed at that point — not by this page.

Changes

These terms change when the site does, and the date at the top of this bay says when that last happened. There is no version history to hunt through; the page always describes the site as it is now.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
